Maasai Mara & Nakuru
4 Nights
DAY 1
07:00 – pick up from your hotel or airport in Nairobi and drive to Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. (Approximetely 3,5 – 4 hours drive)
Around 45sq. km, Lake Nakuru is the home of Flamingoes and the park boasts of 54 different species of animals and over 400 species of birds. It also boasts one of the largest herds of black and white rhinos in Kenya.
Once you are in the park, you will proceed to your lodge with the game drive en route. Uponarrival you shall check in and have lunch. After lunch, we will allow you some time to enjoy your lodge and rest before our next game drive which will be later on in the evening.
16:00 – 18:30 You will be taken out for your first game drive in Nakuru National Park. Highlights will be spotting of black and white rhino in the wild. The magnificent beasts are extremely rare to see and Lake Nakuru National Park offers you that chance. Flamingoes and the wide variety of birds as well as the usual suspects, the Big 5 and the other African cats and predators will definitely pop up every now and then to make this experience even more rewarding. This evening game drive will be until just before dark when you will be take back to your lodge.
18:30 – Onwards You have dinner at the lodge and after that you can enjoy drinks in this beautiful lodge’s terrace. Hopefully this time will be well spent discussing the amazing day that you just had and hopefully you will be looking forward to the next day.

DAY 2
After early breakfast drive to Maasai Mara .
Maasai Mara National Reserve was established in 1961 on the area of 1800 km 2 . It boasts one of the world’s natural wonders – The Great Migration, where more than 2 million gnus zebra, hartebeest antelope and Thompson’s gazelle migrate from the Serengeti plains into the Maasai Mara. The Mara is also inhabited by exceptional population of lions, cheetahs and leopards, so you are assured lots of wildlife sightings during this period in the Mara.
13:00-14:00 – Arrive in Maasai Mara Reserve and have a game drive on the way to the lodge/tented camp for lunch and check-in.
Around 16:00 after a good rest and when the temperature drops, you will be taken out for another game drive. This time of the day is ideal because the animals are more active making it a great time to go see the wildlife. This game drive will be until 18:30 when you will be taken back to camp.
Dinner and overnight at the Tented Camp/Lodge.
DAY 3 AND DAY 4
Two whole two days in Maasai Mara, the car is for your private use so you can discuss with your guide and choose the best option for you. For example:
Wake up early in the morning to leave for a Game Drive at 06:30. This is an awesome time to be out in the wild before the nocturnal animals retreat into the shades as the heat intensifies and the day progresses and becomes hotter. Photography is best during this early morning game drive.
08:30 - Breakfast in the camp/lodge or picnic.
10:00 - Another game drive after breakfast.
12:00/13:00 –Lunch and after you will have some time to relax until the evening game drive.
DAY 5
After breakfast you will leave the camp and with en route game drive return to Nairobi for lunch
